THE STATE OF GLORY BRAND
State of Glory Company PTY LTD has operated multiple, small to medium sized businesses locally, nationally and internationally. Primarily known for its popular clothing line and signature brand, State of Glory Company PTY LTD has owned and operated businesses in a range of industries, such as promotions, events and recording studios, has engaged in band and artist managment, online entertainment, online and in-store retail, distribution, art, beverages, publishing and education. Established in 2012 as an entertainment website (now publishing independent media articles), the clothing line soon followed, well recieved.
Earlier incarnations of the brand existed as early as 2007, registered in New South Wales first as 'State of Glory Promotions' and 'State of Glory Studios'. Both businesses were operated as partnerships between Shane Cuthbert and others, with very limited success in these industries. State of Glory Studios closed when the business manager, Jye Menzies (Shane's best friend) left Australia, in order to tour professionally with his band Capture the Crown, an international success.
OWNERSHIP
State of Glory PTY LTD is currently supporting Division 4 Candidate Shane Cuthbert, who currently stands unopposed in the Cairns Local Government elections to be held in March 2024. Shane says he's "not afraid to stand up for what's right and hold our State and Federal politicians accountable", and "I've taken a discrimination claim against the Australian Labor Party all the way to the High Court of Australia".
Prior to announcing his candidacy, Shane Cuthbert promoted Sydney clubs HotDamn!, SFX and Killer nightclubs. Whilst promoting clubs at night, Shane attended a business course with his best friend Jye by day and together they started a small in-home recording studio (State of Glory Studios), In addition to mowing lawns.
State Of Glory.com was launched in 2012, an online entertainment website that included image galleries and video content. In 2013, State Of Glory clothing launched and began monetising the site through advertising and endorsements, selling only state of glory branded merchandise and products, with the site peaking in 2014 with a daily visitor count of over 5000.
